Course Comments: The Lagoon Park Golf Course was designed by Charles Graves of Atlanta, Ga., and was built in a scenic, parkland area that was originally a swamp in 1978. The result is a golf course steeped in southern charm with fairways lined with 100-year oaks, towering pine trees, flowering dogwoods and California raindrop trees. In the spring, the natural vegetation takes center stage as the course comes alive with hundreds of blooming azaleas and flowering trees lining the beautifully manicured paths.
